STUDY DETAILS
  • This study is funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and investigates the impact of a peer-led mental health support intervention delivered using a digital health platform for adults with T1D living in rural and remote communities of Interior British Columbia. REACHOUT is a virtual care platform co-created by our T1D patient partner intervention design team, clinical psychologists, digital health specialists, and rural health experts and offers four support delivery features (a) 1-on-1 support from a self-selected PS, (b) group support from the larger PS community via the 24/7 chat room, (c) face-to-face group support via video huddles, and/or (d) targeted support using topic-specific discussion boards.
